Do you prefer fruit juice over whole fruits?
Drinking fruit juice is OK but eating whole fruits is much better. When you drink fruit juice you miss out on the key important constituent of fruit called the dietary fibre. This fibre is needed for proper digestion and bowel movement.
Because most fruits are high in fructose, it is recommended for those on a fat loss process and Diabetic diet to take it along side with the fibre, the fibre ensure the fruit doesn't spike the blood insulin level.
Another thing we may not be aware of is when we crush the fruit in the mixer, the excess heat generated from the fruit juicer may destroy some nutrients present in the fruit. Yeah it does.
Well it is good to take fruit juice sometimes, but most time prefer whole fruits.
When I say fruit juice, I mean the fresh fruit juice not the packed juices which are high in sugar and have many artificial ingredients with little or no nutritional value.
